Victoria Gosling OBE began her distinguished career in the Royal Air Force, where she honed her leadership skills while managing complex operations and high-performing teams in demanding environments. Recognised for her outstanding service, she was awarded an MBE for operations in Iraq. Her time in the RAF instilled a deep sense of discipline, strategic thinking, and adaptability—qualities that have become the cornerstone of her leadership. Victoria exceptional contributions to disability sport later earned her an OBE, reflecting her unwavering commitment to driving positive change and inspiring others.
Victoria played a pivotal role in the inception of the Invictus Games, spearheading the first event in 2014, which set the foundation for a global movement celebrating the resilience and achievements of wounded veterans. In 2016, she took on the role of CEO of the Invictus Games USA, successfully delivering an inspiring event that reinforced the importance of sport as a tool for recovery and empowerment. Now, as Chair of the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, Vicky continues her commitment to this remarkable legacy, driving forward its mission to transform lives through sport and camaraderie.
Victoria has been instrumental in shaping British sports. As CEO of GB Snowsport, she led the organisation through a pivotal period, driving transformative change that resulted in the best results Britain has ever seen. Under her leadership, GB Snowsport redefined its strategy, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance on the global stage. She is also a member of the British Olympic Board, contributing her expertise to the development and representation of British athletes across all sports.
As Chair of GB Surfing, I am honored to lead the charge toward an exciting future for British surfing. Our aim is ambitious yet deeply inspiring: to assemble and support the first-ever British surfing team for the Olympics.
